A leading company seeks a graduate Data Analyst to join their Data Analysis team in Liverpool. You will be responsible for mathematical data analysis, predictive techniques, and improving data processes alongside the IT Director. Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background in Maths, Physics, or Engineering and possess skills in Python or R.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Maths/Physics/Engineering with a 2:1 or above.
  • Experience with Python, R, or SPSS preferred.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and strong communication skills.

Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to join a Data Analysis team in a hard working highly numerate environment. Reporting to the IT Director, you will be working in a retail company who do complex analysis to make data-driven decisions.

The company are always looking to improve so you will be working closely with co-workers to make improvements and streamline processes. You will be spotting patterns and trends, exploiting that data and coming up with intuitive solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Mathematical analysis of Data
  • Developing predictive analysis techniques
  • Forensic Data investigations
  • Business case supporting analysis
  • Condition data from customers' asset databases
  • assimilate unfamiliar concepts and formulate mathematical relationships suitable for a solution using computer tools

Skills

  • Must have a 2:1 or above in Maths / Physics / Engineering
  • Have experience with or be able to pick up Python, R, SPSS
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment to high standards of service delivery
