Overview

Location: NG2, Nottingham (Office-Based)
Pay: £12.21 - £13.24 per hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary (with potential for extension)
Hours: Monday-Friday (7:00-15:30, 8:00-16:30, 9:00-17:30, 10:00-18:30)
Flexibility required - occasional out-of-hours work due to global operations

About the Role

We\'re seeking a Temporary Data Analyst to support a leading global e-commerce business. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills who can hit the ground running, working with large datasets to support inventory and supply chain operations. You\'ll play a key role in providing data insights to keep stock levels balanced and operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets relating to sales and inventory
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for reporting and forecasting
• Use Excel (XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query) to create reports and automate workflows
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve stock management and business efficiency
• Prepare weekly/monthly KPI reports and present findings to the team

Skills & Experience

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills - XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF/SUM formulas, Power Query
• Confident with Power BI dashboard creation and data visualisation
• Experience handling and interpreting large data sets
• Ability to turn data into actionable recommendations
• Flexibility with working hours (global operations sometimes require logging in out of office hours)
• Previous experience in data analysis, reporting, or supply chain analytics is a plus
