Your tools will be SQL, Jupyter, Python data libraries, augmented by statistical modelling and ML techniques where necessary.

We are building something big together as part of a growing environment. We like to roll our sleeves up, whilst at the same time nurturing your individual goals and ambitions. We are looking for problem-solvers who are committed and analytical, keen to learn while always being delivery minded, self-starters for whom everything is possible but the best solution is always the most appropriate one. Above all we want to hire high-energy people that we’ll love working with every day.

Responsibilities
Data Management & Analysis
  • Collect, clean, validate, and maintain large healthcare datasets
  • Fulfil data queries for clinical research projects: performing ad-hoc querying if necessary, but primarily enabling self-service reporting by providing common dashboards
  • Following stakeholder requirements, perform detailed analysis using data analytics and statistics: for example, analysing intraoperative robotic data alongside patient demographic data
  • Work with data engineers to specify new data requirements (e.g. to improve data quality)
  • Improve documented data definitions, to improve consistency and understanding across the business
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
Research Support
  • Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and cross-functional teams to translate research questions into analytical plans
  • Support study design by determining data requirements, defining variables, and creating analytic cohorts
  • Contribute to research manuscripts, white papers, grant proposals, and presentations by providing data insights and methodological documentation
  • Ensure all analyses follow research standards, regulatory guidelines, and reproducible workflows
Data Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, GDPR and organisational data privacy policies
  • Maintain clear documentation of data sources, transformations, and analytic processes
Requirements - Essential
  • Good understanding of SQL and ability to understand a large schema
  • Good understanding of data analytics and analysis using statistical methods
  • Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI, Matplotlib or Streamlit
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods
Requirements - Desirable
  • Understanding of research study design
  • Familiarity with healthcare datasets
  • Passion for evidence based learning
  • Experience of working with clinical research partners to perform novel analysis and publish research papers.
  • Have publications in reputable venues.

Excellent salary to match your experience and the requirements of the role, plus fantastic benefits

This role is hybrid, with the expectation of you being in the office once a week. Normally Wednesdays, with some flexibility.
