We’re seeking a kind, reliable Daily Living Support Assistant to provide 2 hours of support each day, 7 days a week, across two set time slots: 9–10am and 4–5pm. This role is ideal for someone who truly values routine, patience, and meaningful one‑to‑one connection. You’ll be supporting an individual who is partially blind and deaf, helping them maintain independence and confidence in daily life. Your day‑to‑day involvement will include assisting with reading and writing tasks, offering gentle mobility support during short walks with a mobility frame, and carrying out light household duties such as hoovering or stripping the bed to keep their home comfortable. An Italian speaker would be especially welcome, as it would make communication smoother and more enriching as it is her first language, although it’s not essential. You’ll also occasionally accompany them to GP appointments and complete a simple weekly blood‑pressure check as part of general wellbeing monitoring. This is a calm, steady role where your presence and patience will make a difference. If you are thoughtful, dependable, and enjoy supporting someone to live safely and comfortably at home, we’d love to hear from you.
