A local government authority in Salisbury seeks a Cyber Security Officer to respond to cyber incidents and improve security posture. You will implement Microsoft Purview and audit the Information Security Management System. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree or professional qualifications in cyber security. A full current driving licence is required, with possible travel for incident support. This is a full-time, permanent role with flexible working options available.
Salary: £39,152 - 41,771 per annum (rising by annual increments to £41,771). More information on salaries and progression can be found on our pay and policies page.
Hours of work: Full Time - 37 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Location: The service encourages flexible working and is open to flexible working options. The role will be based at Dorchester Support Offices, Poundbury OR Service Headquarters, Salisbury with the flexibility to work from home / DWFRS Stations / Support Offices and we would welcome a conversation with the successful candidate on what type of flexible working arrangement will work best for you. There will be a requirement to attend your base location approximately one - two days a week for key activities and meetings.
