Cyber Security Analyst – Permanent, North West (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced Cyber Security Analyst looking for a role where you can take ownership, influence decisions, and make a real impact? A growing Information Security team in Manchester are seeking a skilled Cyber professional to join their expanding cyber security function.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll actively monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and enhance detection and response processes within a Microsoft‑first environment (Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Cloud Apps).

You’ll be joining a small but highly experienced team that values collaboration, shared learning, and long‑term stability. The team has a strong culture of mentoring, upskilling, and process improvement, with dedicated time set aside to help everyone grow.

What we’re looking for :
  • Strong SOC analyst experience (preferably mid‑level / L2 or above).
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender.
  • Experience with incident response, including investigation, remediation, and reporting.
  • Analytical mindset, able to dig into potential issues and identify root causes.
  • Collaborative attitude, with an interest in contributing to process improvement and mentoring.
