Overview

Customer Team Member – Location: 10 King Street, Stonehouse, ML9 3EF • Pay: £12.60 per hour • Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time • Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly team that’s dedicated to helping our customers. You’ll provide great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

Responsibilities
  • Friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, and delivering a great shopping experience
  • Work together to make everyone's day better – support store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
  • Ensure the store is safe and compliant – keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are accurate
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together
  • Support the local community – get involved in activities and events
