Customer Team Member

Location: Lauder Road, Kirkcaldy, KY2 5BD.
Pay: £12.60 per hour.
Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part‑time.
Working pattern: varied shifts – early mornings (5:30 am store opening), afternoons, weekends (discuss at interview). The role also includes working in the bakery.

Full, paid training provided.

You must be aged 18 or over. The role may involve working before 6 am or after 10 pm.

What you'll do
  • Provide friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first: respond to queries, champion Co‑op products and Membership, work in the in‑store bakery and deliver a great shopping experience.
  • Work together to make everyone's day better – support store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Ensure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates and temperatures are correct.
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together.
  • Support the local community – get involved in activities and events.
