Overview

Join us as a Customer Service, Personal Banker in Hove

Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact in our branches, dedicated to delivering outstanding service and ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every customer.
  • Proactively converse with customers, understand their needs and help them with their banking requirements.
  • Complete general banking requests such as payments, balance enquiries and transfers.
  • Explain the different ways customers can bank with us and the range of services we offer.
  • Identify opportunities to help customers with simple financial products, collaborating with other teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
What you will be supported to achieve

We’ll support you to achieve a Foundation Certificate in Responsible Banking and build on your existing skills with full training. This role is offered as a fixed-term contract ending on 31 October 2026. The role does not meet Skilled Worker visa sponsorship requirements.

Contract and Working Pattern
  • Fixed-term contract ending on 31 October 2026.
  • Part-time working pattern of 28 hours per week, flexible within branch opening hours (typically 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday) with rotational Saturdays and some bank holidays.
Learning and Development

Your journey starts with a comprehensive training programme to gain new skills, with ongoing coaching and support. You’ll study towards a recognised external qualification that will open doors to further career opportunities.
