Job summary

A recruitment agency in Milton Keynes is looking for a Customer Service Executive to provide exceptional support to customers. This temporary role involves managing customer inquiries, coordinating service appointments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience, strong communication skills, and be able to work under pressure. A full UK driving license is desirable. This role may lead to permanent opportunities.

Customer Service Executive

Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8AM-5.30PM

Salary: £13.22 P/H

Please note, this is a temporary role with potential to remain further or on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing clear communication and support throughout their service journey.
  • Manage walk-in enquiries, customer updates, complaints, and appointment bookings in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate customer collections, deliveries, or service appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to support seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems, preparing documentation such as quotations, invoices, and service notes.
  • Handle all paperwork in line with company policies and data protection requirements (GDPR).
  • Follow all company procedures and maintain awareness of relevant compliance and safety standards.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Previous customer service experience (experience in a fast-paced service or operational environment is advantageous).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confidence when dealing with customers and the ability to stay professional under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Good IT skills, ideally with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach and strong problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable).
