Customer Service Advisor / Community Partnership Officer

This Гәдоу exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor / Community Partnership Officer to support customer engagement, partnership working and community outreach programmes focused on energy efficiency, sustainability and fuel poverty.

Customer Services, Community Engagement Officer, Partnerships Officer, Stakeholder Engagement Officer

Full Training Provided

Comprehensive training will be provided, including a City & Guilds Energy Awareness course and an SQA‑accredited qualification over 6–9 weeks. Training takes place Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional training will be offered based on role requirements.

Salary: £26,260 per annum + Benefits

Location: This hybrid position allows for flexible working from home or from the offices in Dundee or Aberdeen, with occasional office attendance. Applicants must reside in, or very near to, one of the six service areas (Moray, Aber quieres, Aberdeen City, Angus, Dundee City, and Perth & Kinross)

As a Customer Service Advisor / Community Partnership Officer, you will work closely with community groups, partner organisations and stakeholders, providing clear information, promoting services and supporting referrals through digital systems and partnership activity.

The customer service advisor community partnership officer role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining home working with office attendance in Dundee or Aberdeen and travel across service areas to attend meetings, training and events.

This position suits someone with strong customer service skills, confidence communicating with a wide range of people and an interest in community impact, sustainability and partnership working.

Candidate Requirements
  • A background in customer service with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a community-facing, advisory or stakeholder engagement role
  • Confidence working independently in a hybrid or remote environment
  • Experience using digital systems, online platforms and CRM tools
  • A willingness to learn about fuel poverty, sustainability and energy efficiency services
  • A full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the service area
