The Customer service advisors are to strengthen our high performing and friendly service team who put our customers at the heart of everything they do. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver the best customer service to our customers, working as part of a team to deliver the best customer centric service in the industry. You will deliver industry leading service to our customers with their collection and delivery needs, taking accountability to resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner. Communication is essential in this role as you will need to build relationships across the business internally and with our customers.

Job description

Customer service advisors Job description:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service across various channels (phone, email, chat).
  • Actively listen to customer’s concerns, diagnose issues, and provide efficient resolutions.
  • Possess a deep understanding of our products and services to answer questions accurately.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanour while fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Document customer interactions thoroughly and accurately in relevant in-house system/s.
  • Proactively identify cases with a high number of contacts, isolate these and take ownership until the query is resolved.
  • Take full ownership on any escalation until final resolution.
  • Be the first point of contact for any customer complaints and/or callbacks as part of a complaint and/or escalation process.
  • Regularly report key issues or escalations with significant business and/or press impacts or trends to the Central Customer Services Management Team.
  • Build relationships with other departments to effectively deal with all queries in real time.
  • Achieve all KPIs as set by the Customer Services Management Team.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure great customer service delivery – every time.
  • Demonstrate the core values and DNA of the business.
Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with a variety of customers and stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • Demonstrable experience working within a customer service role (ideally within a similar environment).
  • IT and computer literate ideally with exposure to using in-house systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to record data accurately and concisely.
  • Calm under pressure, and able to multi-task whilst also thinking outside the box to achieve the best resolution for the customer.
  • Ability to analyse customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to work at pace under pressure in a busy team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will have to complete a criminal background check to be successful in this role.
