Hours and Benefits
  • Location: Sheepbridge, Chesterfield
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Salary: £26,400 per annum
  • 31 days annual leave including bank holidays

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers needing parts and support. You will deliver outstanding service, process orders efficiently, and help keep operations running smoothly. This role blends technical knowledge with excellent communication skills and offers the chance to build lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main contact for customers, providing advice and product information
  • Build strong relationships and deliver tailored solutions
  • Process orders, quotations, and invoices accurately
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely dispatch
  • Monitor backorders and keep customers updated
  • Maintain awareness of stock levels and liaise with inventory teams
  • Suggest strategies to boost sales of slow‑moving stock
  • Support promotional activities and sales initiatives
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry developments
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales (automotive or heavy equipment background ideal)
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn quickly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM/ERP experience preferred
  • Organised, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask
  • Team player with a proactive approach in a fast‑paced environment
