Overview

Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Clothing & Home section, where you'll champion our stylish products, on-trend designs, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for passionate and fashion-forward individuals who are excited to dress the nation. You will be a brand ambassador ready to recommend our newest fashion items, and through remarkable service make sure customers feel valued every time they shop with us.

You'll be a brand ambassador who uses digital tools to enhance the customer experience and ensure customers get the products they want when they need them.

Key shifts include being digitally confident, efficient, a team player, and flexible to work across different areas of the store to adapt to the retail environment.

Saturday: 9:30 - 18:30

Purpose

To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, we are looking for colleagues who put customers before tasks, championing and promoting our brilliant products. As the face of the business, you will be the voice of our customers helping us to continually improve.

Responsibilities
  • Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
  • Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are stocked with product
  • Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service
  • Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
  • Receive training to utilise digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer
