Compensation: £30,000 - £32,000 / year

Description

We are looking to recruit an Customer Accounts Supervisor to join our Finance Team. This is an exciting role in the business and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to learn and achieve personal growth within a fast paced business.

What’s the opportunity?

The Customer Accounts Supervisor will support the Finance team through the management of a team of 4 Customer Accounts Assistants. The collective responsibility of the Customer Accounts Team is to have oversight of the customer accounts of all stores to ensure financial information related to both the customer ledgers and end of day banking is complete and accurate.

The Customer Accounts Supervisor will be responsible for allocating work within the team, review of the output of their work, regular reporting to the Financial Controller and Finance Director and completion of tasks including daily branch receipt bank reconciliations and management of day to day Finance House activities.

What does the role involve?
  • Oversight of the team responsible for the daily review of the customer accounts for all stores.
  • Review of the output the team’s work, including review of the proposed adjustments required to individual accounts.
  • Liaising directly with retail and distribution colleagues to assist in the performance of duties.
  • Performance of daily branch receipt bank reconciliations.
  • Regular reporting to the Financial Controller and Finance Director.
  • Management of day to day Finance House activities, including management of rate cards and remittance reconciliations.
  • Support in review of customer refund activity.
  • Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Maintain accurate and organised financial records and documentation.
