Compensation: £36,807 - £43,663 / year

Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Bath College is seeking an experienced and dynamic Curriculum Team Leader to lead our Hospitality and Tourism curriculum area, which includes Professional Cookery, Catering & Hospitality, and Travel & Tourism courses. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of academic staff to deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of courses that meet industry standards and prepare learners for successful careers.
  • Drive quality improvement, ensuring high achievement, retention, and progression rates.
  • Teach and mentor, sharing your expertise with learners and supporting staff development.
  • Play an instrumental role in the development of our new on-site restaurant, helping to shape its concept and integrate it into the learner experience.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • A teaching qualification (Level 5 minimum) and a strong background in catering or professional cookery.
  • Experience in curriculum development, planning, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of awarding body requirements and current industry practices.
  • Previous experience in Further Education is highly desirable.
