An educational institution in the UK is seeking a Curriculum Director to oversee A Level courses, which include English, Humanities, Media, and Music. The role involves managing curriculum provision for approximately one quarter of the A Level offerings. Applicants with diverse subject backgrounds are encouraged to apply, particularly those with experience in essay-based subjects. This position is set to commence following the summer break of 2026.
Salary: £66,145 p.a. 1.00 FTE. Permanent. Based in the town centre at either English Bridge or Welsh Bridge campus.
Following the retirement of the existing post-holder we are looking to recruit a new Curriculum Director to lead and manage a range of courses within our A Level provision.
The current post-holder is one of four A Level Directors and is responsible for around one quarter of our A Level provision, including English, Humanities, Media and Music. Applicants from candidates of all subject backgrounds are welcome as there is some flexibility in allocating subject responsibility across the directorates, though experience in teaching essay-based subjects may be an advantage.
This post will start after the Summer break 2026.
