Job description

SEND And Inclusion – Engaging with Children, Young People, and Families

We are looking for someone passionate about making arts and culture accessible for all children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across Wiltshire.

In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of our Short Breaks Inclusive Arts Programme. In the first year, you will design and test pilot projects to explore different ways of delivering creative activities. From year two, you will implement a county-wide programme that offers a broad range of cultural and creative opportunities during term time and school holidays.

You will work closely with families, carers, and young people to ensure activities reflect their interests and aspirations. You will also collaborate with partners and artists to maintain high-quality, inclusive programmes and monitor outcomes to show impact and inform future improvements.

This role involves regular travel across Wiltshire and some evening and weekend work. You will need experience working with children and young people with SEND, knowledge of safeguarding, and qualifications or experience in arts or creative activity leadership.

If you are committed to inclusion and want to make a real difference through creativity, we’d love to hear from you.
