About the role

The crown prosecutor position is ideal if you’re a newly qualified lawyer or have no criminal law experience. You’re based in the magistrates’ court, working with prosecution teams to review and present evidence in cases ranging from common assault to drugs offences. You gain a wealth of experience in the criminal court, further developing your legal knowledge and potential career progression.

About you

We’re looking for qualified practising lawyers with an interest in criminal law. You must demonstrate sound legal judgement and present cases clearly, both verbally and in writing. It's essential that you have a commitment to public service, a focus on continuous learning and an understanding of our role within the criminal justice system.
