Qualifications

Station Systems Technician Level 2

When you join our Engineering Team at Telent, you’ll be empowered to innovate and drive common solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of the impact their work makes. Come join a high‑performing team doing complex and critical work. Help build and keep the nation’s critical infrastructure connected and protected 24 / 7.

You’ll be working under the direction of the Duty Manager in the Remedial Team, where you will be the station systems deputy technical lead and the first point of escalation for our Technicians and be involved with fault finding, fixing fault rectifications on CCTV and Public Address systems. Working from our Pirin Court Depot, E16 4TL this role will cover nights, Sunday to Thursday 10pm 6am.

What you’ll do
  • Be an escalation point for reoccurring faults, Technicians, assisting in the implementation of investigations and fixes.
  • Be involved with fault finding, fixing fault rectifications on CCTV and Public Address systems.
  • Complete planned remedial activities on communications systems against a defined schedule.
  • Promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
  • Ability to successfully take own initiative, work under pressure and meet tight programme deadlines / scheduling and work to high standards.
Who you are

You’ll have previous experience working as a Station Systems Technician Level 3 and looking to take that next step into a Station Systems Technician Level 2 role.

Station Systems Technician Key requirements
  • Have experience of CCTV, PA, CIS IP Networks and ability to erect scaffold.
  • Strong organisational skills, including multitasking and time management.
  • The job holder will be required to work nights, Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am from our Pirin Court Depot.
  • IRSE License safety critical systems.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
