Job Overview

We are seeking a Credit Risk Business Analyst to support the delivery of Bank Credit Risk Enhancement initiatives from a risk technology perspective. The Technical Risk Business Analyst would be responsible for defining and delivering key credit risk reporting measures, working closely with stakeholders to translate risk requirements into clear technical specifications. The role would focus on building and enhancing reporting solutions, with a strong emphasis on Power BI tooling to produce accurate, timely, and insightful risk reports that support decision‑making and regulatory needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed technical analysis and design of infrastructure updates related to Credit Risk initiatives.
  • Document user requirements and validate pricing and simulation models using Markit FRA.
  • Map Trade and Market data to FraimWRX format.
  • Collaborate with business teams to define end‑of‑day/intraday credit risk monitoring solutions.
  • Define testing methodologies and participate in product development testing.
  • Ensure effective handover of new processes and controls into the live environment.
  • Resolve production issues by driving forward solutions.
  • Develop relationships across technology risk and credit risk management teams.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for efficient project implementation.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Credit Risk and related domains.
  • Experience in building and enhancing reporting solutions, with a strong emphasis on Power BI tooling to produce accurate, timely, and insightful risk reports that support decision‑making and regulatory needs.
  • Strong background in credit risk reporting.
  • Experience with vendor risk engines, particularly S&P Global and FraimWRX.
  • Proficiency in SQL, .NET, Excel VBA, and exposure to Python or SAS.
  • Strong business analysis skills and knowledge of the project life cycle.
  • Experience defining test plans and guiding users through UAT phases.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for credit risk enhancements.
  • Experience with Control‑M.
  • Knowledge of investment banking practices.
  • Experience with FraimWRX or Murex.
