  • Liaise with Offshore teams as required.

What will you do in this role?
  • Monitor and manage outstanding premium balances across multiple insurance products

  • Liaise with brokers and underwriting staff, on at least a monthly basis, to resolve premium discrepancies and ensure prompt payment

  • Chase overdue balances via phone, email and face to face meetings, maintaining a professional and diplomatic approach

  • Maintain records of all communications and ensure insurance accounting system notes are up-to-date and accurate

  • Escalate problematic accounts to Underwriting teams and Premium Accounting management and recommend appropriate action

  • Liaise with A&R team on insurance system reconciliation issues

  • Liaise with Offshore teams where required

  • Be aware of London Market news re financial positions of brokers within the remit of the role

  • A knowledge of Access

  • IRIS (good but not essential)

  • A good knowledge of Lloyd’s/Company bureau systems

Role Factors:

In this role, you will typically be required to be in the office 9 days per calendar month and additionally if requested
