Job Summary and key responsibilities

Reporting to the Rent Arrears Manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our fast growing Credit Control department based in Worthing. As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for timely collection of rent on behalf of our clients & fees across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively contact landlords regarding arrears at scheduled intervals via telephone and email.
  • Respond to incoming calls and resolve queries efficiently, ensuring all issues are managed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Liaise with landlords regarding tenancies that are due to receive Section 8 notices as required.
  • Manage and resolve tickets raised through the ticketing system within agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain and monitor credit control email inboxes to ensure timely responses and follow-up.

Desirable
  • Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control Experience
  • Professional finance qualification (AAT) preferred but not essential
  • Property related experience
