Job description

Punch is seeking a dynamic and imaginative Creative Producer to join our team and lead on developing, producing, and delivering our wide-ranging programme of creative events, with a strong emphasis on platforming emerging talent and online audience engagement tools.

  • You will work closely with artists, venues and partners to craft bold and accessible programming that reflects our creative vision and reaches diverse audiences.
  • This role is ideal for a self-starter and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the creative industries and a strong network of artists, producers, and industry stakeholders.
  • You will have opportunities to work closely with the PUNCH team playing a pivotal role in improving the effectiveness of the delivery of our events, projects and programmes.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in producing and programming arts events and bespoke projects
  • Strong understanding of the UK's creative landscape, across genres and scenes.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to liaise confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with digital / hybrid event formats and content creation.
  • Knowledge of health & safety, risk assessments, and event licensing requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • You will work collaboratively to shape our seasonal programming and one-off events aligned with our mission and values
  • You will curate and produce events and showcases featuring both emerging and established artists
  • You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of programme and events, including logistics, budgeting, contracting, and artist liaison
  • You will support new and emerging talent through the delivery of our structured development programmes, residencies, and creative commissions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, and industry representatives to nurture long-term collaborations
  • You will work closely with our Communications team to design and deliver strategies to grow and diversify audiences, especially underrepresented groups and marginalised communities
  • You will collaborate with our Communications team to develop engaging content and campaigns that reflect the identity and ambition of each programme
