About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and organised Creative Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within the creative department, managing people, projects, and processes across all design outputs from print to digital, social, and web.

This role will be the bridge between creative strategy and execution, ensuring everything produced by the team aligns with the brand vision, meets deadlines, and delivers to the highest standard. You’ll manage internal designers, freelancers, and additional creative team members, working closely with the Creative & Brand Director to develop and streamline workflows, manage resources, and maintain creative excellence across all touchpoints.

The role is based in Hertford on a hybrid basis (3 days in-office). The ideal candidate will also be flexible and available to attend shoots, campaign days, and off‑site projects as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily management of the creative team including designers, freelancers, and project support.
  • Plan, allocate, and prioritise workload across print, digital, and campaign projects.
  • Support the Creative & Brand Director in developing creative briefs, workflows, and production processes.
  • Act as a brand guardian, maintaining consistency, quality, and alignment across all creative outputs.
  • Ensure efficient communication between creative, marketing, e-commerce, and wider departments.
  • Manage timelines, approvals, and expectations across teams to ensure projects deliver on time.
  • Bring creative flair and fresh thinking to projects while balancing operational efficiency.
  • Support production and delivery of campaigns from concept to rollout, across multiple channels.
  • Drive motivation and inspiration within the creative team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Ensure assets are delivered accurately, on‑brand, and optimised for performance.
  • Track progress, manage budgets (where required), and report on project performance.
About You
  • Proven experience in a Creative Manager, Studio Manager, or Creative Operations role.
  • Background in fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brand environments.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills confident managing multiple designers and freelancers.
  • Highly organised and able to balance creativity with structure.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across departments.
  • Experience managing end‑to‑end creative production, with an understanding of digital and print workflows.
  • Proactive, calm under pressure, and used to working in a fast‑paced, agile setting.
  • A genuine passion for brand and design, with an eye for detail and a drive to maintain quality.
