Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic CQC Programme Officer to help support the delivery of the Trust’s internal CQC preparedness Programme CQC@ELFT and support and maintain positive relationships with CQC through timely information sharing.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver CQC priorities
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including handling CQC enquiries and preparing for key meetings and inspections
  • Lead coordination and data analysis required as part of the CQC@ELFT work stream
  • Design communication materials and resources to support clinical teams’ understanding of CQC and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to committee reports where required
  • Deliver training on QA processes to clinical staff and service users
Qualifications

Candidate must have a strong background in NHS work and a solid understanding of quality assurance and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, data management and IT skills, ability to manage own workload against regular deadlines by effectively prioritising tasks, and a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. A passion for quality and for improving patient and staff experience is essential.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
Experience
  • Experience of working in a health or similar organisation
  • Experience of working in Quality Assurance
  • Experience of managing change (desirable)
  • Experience of working in a culturally diverse inner city area (desirable)
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulation principles and the CQC regulatory framework
  • Knowledge of structures, concepts & processes of Quality Assurance
  • High level of expertise in word‑processing, spreadsheets and databases (Excel)
  • Numerical and analytical skills, and ability to collate, analyse and triangulate information for presentation and report writing
  • Excellent information management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills
  • Experience of report writing
  • Training and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain administrative systems and processes
  • Ability to produce articles and promotional materials to aid communication
  • Skills in project management and interactive presentations
  • Working knowledge of Office 365/MS Teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively and in teams
