Overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor Manager to arrange cover for absent teaching staff, liaise with external agencies, induct and oversee supply staff and line manage our cover own supervisor(s). The successful candidate will also cover lessons, deliver set work and manage student behaviour. During non-cover periods, you will be expected to undertake duties including supporting students in lesson, mentoring, exam invigilation, general administration and break/lunchtime supervision.

Qualifications and experience

Classroom experience and the ability to engage effectively with children is a requirement, along with the ability to build positive relationships with agencies, supply staff and school staff.

Role details

This role is for 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 6.45am-3.15pm, term time plus 1 day for staff training.
