Rate: £110 - £120 per day

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support vibrant and diverse Secondary Schools across the London Borough of Islington.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be the lead adult in the classroom, ensuring that students stay focused on the work set by their regular teachers.

• Classroom Oversight: Manage the classroom environment and ensure students are making progress with the tasks provided.
• Positive Presence: Act as a role model and mentor, encouraging high standards of behaviour and effort.
• Versatility: Deliver cover across a wide range of subjects, gaining unique insights into different departments.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience working with young people (coaching, mentoring, youth work, or school-based support) is highly desirable.

• Resilience: A calm and authoritative manner to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
• DBS: An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one through us).
• Location: Must be able to commute easily to various locations within Islington.
