Cover Supervisors Needed - Denbighshire

Are you a confident and outgoing graduate who likes the idea of securing a school-based role filled with variety and excitement? Where every day is different and a new learning experience?

Have you considered working as a Cover Supervisor? A new opportunity has arisen for a Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic Secondary School in Flintshire. With opportunities to progress on to Teacher Training in the future, this Cover Supervisor role is the perfect job for aspiring teachers who are seeking additional classroom experience before applying for a PGCE.

Responsibilities
  • Secondary School based in Flitshire
  • Pay: Up to £100 per day
  • Covering lessons across Years 7-11 in a variety of subject areas
  • Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
  • Delivering pre-set lesson plans
  • Ensure students are on-task and understand the work that has been set
  • Using the school\'s behaviour policies to maintain classroom control
  • Fantastic way of securing relevant experience prior to Teacher Training
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Excellent academic record
  • Excellent track record of attainment in GCSE and A-Levels
  • Graduates with a degree in English, Maths and Science will be of particular interest
  • Confidence to stand in front of classes of up to 30 students and deliver pre-set lesson plans
  • Experience in similar roles (e.g., TEFL) would be well suited to this position
