Cover Supervisors Needed in Bebington!

We are recruiting skilled Cover Supervisors to manage classrooms and ensure learning continuity across excellent secondary schools in the Bebington area. If you possess strong authority and thrive in a dynamic environment, apply now!

Daily Pay Rate: £90 to £95 per day Location: Bebington, Wirral- CH63

As a Cover Supervisor, you are the key to keeping the secondary school day running smoothly during teacher absences. Your main responsibility is classroom control and guidance. You will receive pre-prepared lesson materials and focus on ensuring students remain on task, behave responsibly, and complete the work across various subjects.

Main Duties:
  • Direct students to begin the assigned work promptly and efficiently.
  • Keep order in the classroom, strictly following the school's behavioural guidelines.
  • Explain instructions for the set tasks clearly to the students.
  • Actively supervise the class, checking that pupils are focused and working productively.
  • Respond to simple queries from students regarding the organisation or structure of the task.
  • Collect completed work and notes at the end of the lesson for the subject teacher's return.
Skills You Will Need:
  • Excellent verbal skills for giving directions and maintaining control.
  • Comfort covering diverse subjects and quickly grasping new instructions.
  • Remain calm when managing challenging behaviour.
  • Able to spot and prevent issues before they start.
  • Speak confidently to direct the whole class.
