  • Salary: £500 – £750 per week (dependent on experience and assignment)
  • Contract Type: Long-term and day-to-day cover available

The Role

We are recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Wolverhampton. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task and follow the work set by teaching staff.

Opportunities are available for both day-to-day flexibility and long-term placements, making this an excellent option for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced school support staff looking for consistent work in education.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be calm, professional, and confident working with secondary‑aged pupils. You should be:

  • Experienced working with KS3 and KS4 students (school‑based experience preferred)
  • Confident with classroom and behaviour management
  • Able to engage students and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Reliable, adaptable, and organised
  • Interested in gaining further experience within secondary education

You’ll be working across a range of secondary schools in Wolverhampton, including Good and improving schools with supportive staff teams and clear behaviour policies. Schools offer welcoming environments and opportunities to build long‑term relationships where placements are extended.
