Are you passionate about languages and looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a secondary school setting? We are seeking a dedicated MFL Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield, easily accessible by public transport.

About the role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning by delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, with a particular focus on Modern Foreign Languages. You won't be responsible for planning or marking – your focus will be on engaging students, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring learning continues smoothly in the absence of the class teacher.

Key responsibilities

• Delivering pre-set lessons in Spanish or French, and occasionally other subject areas.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Supporting students to stay on task and engaged in their learning.
• Building positive relationships with young people to help them achieve their best.

About you
