Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Maidstone and Surrounding Areas
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £120 per day

Can you inspire young minds with an engaging teaching style? Do you have strong classroom and behaviour management skills? Are you interested in supporting students aged 11-16?

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the teacher.
• Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support pupils individually or in small groups to encourage progress.
• Assist with classroom routines such as registration, transitions, and lesson wrap-ups.
• Report back to teachers on pupil progress, engagement, and behaviour.
• Be adaptable and flexible when working across different year groups and subjects.

The Successful Cover Supervisor Will Have

• CACHE Level 2/3 or at least 6 months relevant classroom experience
• Confidence in managing a class of students aged 11-16+
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Flexibility to support different departments and age groups within the school
