Cover Supervisor - the role.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring that students stay engaged and motivated to learn. • Supervise classes during teacher absences, delivering pre‑planned lessons effectively.
• Foster a positive, productive and disciplined classroom environment.
• Maintain student engagement, ensuring they stay focused and complete tasks as assigned.
• Provide feedback on student progress, behaviour and classroom dynamics to teachers and staff.
• Adapt to various classroom settings, ensuring consistency and continuity in the student’s learning experience.

Cover Supervisor - what we're looking for:

• Strong Leadership & Communication Skills: Able to guide and manage students with confidence.
• Classroom Authority: Maintain a calm, authoritative presence to manage diverse groups of students.
• UK-Recognised Degree and/or Experience in Education: Prior experience in a similar supervisory role is advantageous.
• Adaptability: Flexible and able to adjust to different classroom environments, student needs, and teaching style.
• A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for a new certificate, we can help with this process).
• Ability to commute reliably to schools in Kidderminster and/or surrounding areas.
