Job summary

A leading education staffing agency is seeking a Cover Supervisor in Gloucester for an ongoing temporary position. The successful candidate will manage classroom activities, ensuring students remain engaged. Previous experience in a secondary school setting and a qualification in Education are desirable. This role offers a daily salary of £105 to £110, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Core Education is currently working with schools in the Gloucesterarea who have requirements for a Cover Supervisor.

Cover Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

• Taking attendance registers
• Maintaining classroom discipline
• Supervising students, ensuring the students remain engaged and focused on pre-prepared work
• Support learning and provide guidance and support to students

Cover Supervisor Experience:

• Confident in tailoring lesson delivery to accommodate students
• Previous experience working within a secondary school setting as a Cover Supervisor
• Qualification within an Education is desirable
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

The successful Cover Supervisor will need an Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.
