Qualifications

  • Experience working in a special educational needs (SEN) or pupil referral unit (PRU) setting.
  • Ability to engage and support pupils during lessons.
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You’ll supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared lessons, and ensure pupils remain engaged and on task. Working with pupils aged 4–11 with a range of needs—including ADHD, ASD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges—you’ll help create a safe, structured, and positive learning atmosphere.
