Job description

We are looking for a talented and passionate Court of Protection Solicitor to join our clients prestigious and renowned Court of Protection team in Central London. With a minimum of 1 year PQE, you will be responsible for dealing with complex, high-value estates. Although a Newly Qualified would be considered with recent relevant experience.

As a Court of Protection Solicitor, you will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills. You will be able to communicate complex areas of law in a simple and coherent way and have the interpersonal skills to establish long-term relationships with the Deputy, the OPG, the individual and their family.

Your role as a Court of Protection Solicitor will involve the running of files, preparation of general Court applications and Statutory Will applications, representation of the Deputy at Court of Protection hearings and investigations into suspicions of financial abuse.

The Court of Protection Solicitor role will include:

  • Running of files and working with the Deputy in dealing with the Court of Protection
  • Preparation of general Court Applications
  • Preparation of Statutory Will Applications
  • Represent the Deputy at Court of Protection Hearings
  • Investigate suspicions of Financial Abuse
  • Estate Administration
