Overview

CNC Recruitment are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to work for our client in Wincanton - a well-respected food production company in the Southwest area. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials within the warehouse and onto trucks for distribution.

Wincanton Area

Pay and Contract
  • Pay Rate: £12.73 - £18.50 per hour
  • Contract: Temp - Perm
Shifts
  • Rotational shifts: 6am - 2pm (£12.73 per hour)
  • 2pm - 10pm (£12.73 per hour)
  • 10pm - 6am (£18.50 per hour)
Duties
  • Handle the loading and unloading of materials using a forklift
  • Utilise mechanical knowledge to inspect and maintain equipment
  • Perform basic maths calculations for inventory control
  • Operate within a warehouse management system to track inventory movements
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
  • Conduct equipment repairs as necessary
  • Engage in heavy lifting tasks when required
Requirements
  • Prior experience operating a forklift is essential
  • Proficiency in materials handling and warehouse operations
  • Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
