Overview

A Great opportunity has arisen at a our client a food production establishment in Bishops Stortford for a counter balance fork lift truck operator.

This is an ongoing temporary role but could potentially lead to temp to perm for the right person.

Paying £12.91ph with overtime payable after daily hours.

The working hours are Monday to Friday on a rotating shift system of 0600 to 1400 and then 1400 to 2200.

Responsibilities

• Use of a counter balance fork lift to load and unload lorries.
• Safely store grain and flour on racking using fork lift truck.
• Setting up, loading and calibrating machinery used in the production process of flour.
• Monitoring machinery and logging data.
• Dismantling and cleaning of machinery and production area.

Qualifications & Requirements

• The right candidate will ideally have worked in a production environment or used machinery, be able to work quickly, efficiently.
• This is a food production environment so there are very strict health and safety guidelines that must be adhered to at all times.
