About The Role

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you\'ll deliver person-centred counselling in line with BACP guidelines, working flexibly across the borough, including evenings and weekends. You\'ll collaborate with professionals across statutory, voluntary, and community sectors, contributing to safeguarding, service development, and early intervention strategies.

You will deliver confidential counselling to young people, escalating safeguarding concerns appropriately and keep accurate records, contributing to performance data. You will also support multi-agency working and service development and participate in supervision, training, and mentoring.

About The Candidate

The successful candidate will hold a diploma-level counselling qualification and have experience of working with young people aged 11+. You should have knowledge of adolescent issues (e.g. substance misuse, CSE, domestic abuse) with strong safeguarding awareness and risk management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable: Degree in a child-centred or therapeutic discipline. Experience in group work, training delivery, or specialist areas (e.g. housing, mental health).
