Job Title: Costs Draftsperson / Costs Lawyer

Location: Sheffield City Centre (with Hybrid Working)

Salary: £30,000 to £50,000 (DOE)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities
  • Drafting and negotiating bills of costs for both paying and receiving parties.
  • Preparing points of dispute and replies.
  • Advising fee earners and clients on all aspects of costs law and procedure.
  • Assisting with costs budgeting, costs management hearings, and detailed assessments.
  • Handling negotiations and settlements efficiently and effectively.
  • Managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Staying up to date with costs law developments and contributing to internal training or knowledge sharing.
