The Role

Join our dynamic team in Welshpool as a Cost Controller/Analyst and play a key role in driving financial performance across our Perth‑based Schramm business units. This is a hands‑on finance role with a focus on cost control, production efficiency, and strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, cost tracking, and profitability assessments
• Support the process of preparation and final reporting for end of month, quarterly and year end closing.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to manage production costs and inventory
• Implement standard costing processes and conduct regular cost audits
• Provide insights into manufacturing KPIs and support CapEx planning

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA/CA preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to travel between factories as required
