Job description

Bristol is booming and so is the tax advisory market. We're seeking a Corporate Tax Manager who is ready to step into a leadership role within a rapidly expanding practice that's part of a much larger national group.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit back and "just manage compliance." Here, you'll be actively leading client relationships, working with ambitious businesses across tech, life sciences, and high-growth sectors, and supporting them through a variety of corporate tax challenges. Advisory is at the heart of this role - structuring, transactions, and cross-border planning - while still overseeing delivery of top-quality compliance.

You'll also be shaping the next generation of talent, coaching assistant managers and seniors, and being a visible part of the growth of the Bristol office. Your voice will matter in the business strategy - this is a place where ideas are welcomed, not watered down.

We're looking for someone technically sharp, commercially focused, and confident in both managing people and winning trust with clients.

In return you can expect:

  • A competitive salary benchmarked against Big Four peers
  • A share in profits above threshold through the firm-wide reward scheme
  • Exposure to entrepreneurial, innovative clients in one of the UK's most dynamic regions
  • The chance to be part of a high-quality national tax practice with ambitious growth plans

These roles are generally full-time, but flexible or part-time arrangements can be considered for the right person. Applicants must have UK corporate tax experience at manager level and the right to work in the UK.
This is a career-defining opportunity to make your mark in a firm that's rewriting what modern corporate tax advisory looks like in Bristol.
