The successful candidate will be part of the firm's highly regarded Private Equity team in London. You will advise clients on complex and high‑profile private equity transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and executing deals for private equity sponsors and investors. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including some of the largest private equity firms and institutional investors globally, including SWFs.

Our client is looking for a qualified solicitor with roughly 4-7 years' post‑qualification experience (PQE) who is passionate about private equity, with a proven track record of working on large‑scale, cross‑border transactions. Key responsibilities
  • Advising clients on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of private equity transactions, including fund formation, acquisitions, and exits.
  • Working closely with senior partners to provide practical and commercial legal solutions to complex private equity issues.
  • Managing relationships with clients, including private equity sponsors, institutional investors, and portfolio companies.
  • Keeping clients informed about legal developments and changes in the market that may impact their investments.
  • Developing your expertise in private equity law and contributing to the firm's thought leadership in the sector.
Skills and Experience
  • 4-7 years PQE in private equity or a related practice area, with experience advising on private equity fund formations, investment structuring, and M&A transactions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the private equity sector, including an understanding of the commercial dynamics and value‑related implications of transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead client relationships, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
