Job description
Overview

Guest Services Co-ordinator at our Training Centre in the heart of Bristol. We are looking for a professional and smart individual to join our Mitie team in partnership with Network Rail. Bristol Parkway Training Centre – Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00.

Responsibilities
  • Sign in visitors, issue health and safety briefing, answer and resolve telephone queries, and book meeting rooms for clients if required.
  • Unlocking and locking the building daily, including carrying out daily checks to ensure the building is secure.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as monthly visitor figures, no-show reports, stock take of audio-visual equipment, producing the Signature Network Rail newsletter, internal auditing and staff passes reports.
  • Respond to the Reception Inbox and ensure all emails are replied to in a timely manner.
  • Provide travel relief to other sites when needed (full licence holders preferred but not essential).
  • Review the security checklist, log faults, and coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues.
  • Ensure all Network Rail Signature health and safety posters and leaflets are up to date and relevant.
  • Represent the team for the engagement team and collate and order lunches from catering suppliers for each classroom.
  • Maintain up-to-date health and safety folders under direction from the regional front of house manager.
  • Assist with planned and reactive works as required and work with the Compliance Manager to ensure reactive and pre-planned maintenance jobs are completed within the agreed Service Level Agreement with the client.
  • Conduct floor walks and log any faults present.
