A prominent educational institution in Glasgow is looking for a Corporate Governance Officer to provide essential support to the executive team. The role demands independence, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of FOI requirements. Corporate Governance Officer — Permanent, 35 hours per week. Salary: Grade 5 £35,208 - £38,204 per annum (starting salary £35,208).
The College is looking to recruit a Corporate Governance Officer, working within the College Executive Office, supporting the Associate Director of Governance & Risk (ADGR) and the Chief of Staff in providing an effective secretarial and executive support service to the Chair, Board of Management, Principal and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). At all times ensuring that the College complies with its obligations under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004.
The ability to work independently on multiple assignments involving accuracy, prioritising the workload, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision is key to this role, along with experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
You must have an understanding of FOI/EIR statutory requirements and be able to demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
To apply for this post, you must possess a HNC in a relevant subject along with experience of working in a secretariat role at a senior, executive and/or board level in a complex multi-functional organization. You must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Packages and web-based software.
