Job Title

Corporate Business Development Manager

Salary

Basic Annual Salary Between 50000 & 60000 Bonus. Company Cars – OTE 70k to 80k.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week – No Weekends.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid option of 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office. Flexible working hours for a better life balance.

The Role

This dynamic Business Development Manager role involves generating high‑quality leasing, fleet management and salary sacrifice prospects for corporate vehicle fleets across the UK. Based either from the Glasgow head office (hybrid) or remotely, the role reports to the Fleet Sales Director, requires travel to client sites and provides an electric company car.

Key Responsibilities
  • Securing new leasing and fleet management corporate clients.
  • Identifying commercial prospects and promoting ancillary fleet solutions.
  • Generating interest from prospects using databases, networks and marketing leads.
  • Ensuring the quality of corporate clients.
  • Upselling additional products such as hire and salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Engaging with key decision‑makers including Board Level Finance, HR and Procurement.
  • Creating and delivering proposals and solutions to prospective corporate clients with follow‑up presentations as required.
  • Collaborating closely with Account Management teams.
  • Achieving the company business plan.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a corporate sales environment, ideally with knowledge of leasing and fleet management.
  • Tenacity and perseverance to deliver on prospects.
  • Confidence in proposal creation, presenting, negotiating and influencing at Board / Executive level.
  • High‑level strategic and tactical analysis, problem‑solving, decision‑making and analytical capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Electric Vehicles, tax efficiency of lease and salary sacrifice is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages including Word and Excel, and creating client presentations.
  • Excellent organisational skills: diary management, appointment arranging and workload handling.
