Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Cook within Kelvinhall Café, where you will report to the Hospitality Services Manager. The main duties and responsibilities will include the delivery of a high standard of food for the daytime café operation as well as for hospitality provision throughout the building.

In addition, you will comply with all Food Hygiene Regulations, ensuring that kitchen and equipment work areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard that stock and budgets are controlled at all times.

You will be a forward thinking individual who is dedicated, highly motivated, innovative and will demonstrate an in depth knowledge of cooking techniques and excellent presentation skills. You will be required to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team and possess good relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Customer care will be an essential element of all communication.
