Overview

Our client, a long established and highly respected solicitor’s practice based in Newry, is seeking to recruit a qualified Solicitor to join their growing conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with at least 2–3 years + post-qualification experience to take ownership of a varied residential caseload, while benefiting from the support of a friendly and collaborative firm.

The practice has a strong reputation for delivering high quality property services in the local area and further afield. Due to continued growth in instructions, they are now looking to expand their conveyancing offering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing residential property sales and purchases from instruction to completion
  • Handling remortgages, transfers of equity and first registrations
  • Advising clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process and ensuring an excellent client experience
  • Liaising with estate agents, mortgage providers and third parties to ensure transactions progress efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate file management and compliance with all regulatory requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Qualified Solicitor, minimum 2–3 years’ + PQE (conveyancing focus). All levels of PQE will be considered.
  • Solid experience in residential conveyancing, ideally with exposure to a range of transactions
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Ability to manage files independently and work collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
