Job description

Anderson Knight are looking for aConveyancing Paralegal to join a legal firm in South Lanarkshire. Candidates must have experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal.

5 days fully onsite, 9am – 5pm, early finish Fridays!

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the management of property transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Draft, review, and amend legal documents, including contracts, transfer forms, and deeds.
  • Communicate with clients, estate agents, and third parties to gather necessary information and resolve issues.
  • Conduct property searches and due diligence.
  • Assist with preparing and submitting documents for registration with the Land Registry.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Liaise with fee earners to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team as needed.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
  • Solid understanding of residential and/or commercial property law.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with conveyancing software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
